Information you provide voluntarily. The Site does not require you to create an account or provide personal information to use its core features (reading the prayer, praying, or sharing). If a Prayer Wall feature is enabled, you may optionally submit a first name or dedication. You are never required to provide your real name.

Usage data collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our servers and analytics tools may automatically collect certain non-personally-identifiable information, including your IP address (anonymized), browser type, device type, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, and the date and time of your visit. This data is used solely to understand how the Site is used and to improve it.

Aggregated counters. When you click "I Prayed This Prayer" or a share button, we increment an anonymous global counter. We do not link this action to your identity, IP address, or any personal profile.

3. Cookies and Tracking

The Site uses minimal cookies. We use a session cookie solely to maintain basic site functionality. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party behavioral advertising networks.

We use a privacy-respecting analytics tool (Umami) that does not use cookies, does not track you across websites, and does not collect personally identifiable information. All analytics data is aggregated and anonymous.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Operate and maintain the Site.
• Display aggregated share and prayer counters.
• Understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it.
• Detect and prevent abuse, spam, or misuse.

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your information to third parties for marketing purposes. We do not build personal profiles of our visitors.

5. Third-Party Services

The Site includes social sharing buttons (Facebook, Twitter/X, WhatsApp). Clicking these buttons redirects you to those platforms, which have their own privacy policies. We do not control and are not responsible for the privacy practices of those platforms.

Google Fonts are loaded from Google's servers to render our typography. Google may collect limited technical data (such as your IP address) when serving these fonts. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for details.

6. Data Retention

Aggregated counter data (total prayers, total shares) is retained indefinitely as it contains no personal information. Activity event records used for the live feed are retained for a rolling 30-day period and then automatically deleted. If a Prayer Wall feature is enabled, submitted names or dedications are retained until you request their removal (see Section 8).

7. Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted personal information through the Site, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal information we hold about you. Because we collect very little personal information by design, most requests will be straightforward to fulfill.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
